1. Tell us about your career journey at PROMIDEA.
I joined PROMIDEA in July 2020, and have had the opportunity to work on many impactful projects. From my initial role as Area Account Manager for East Adriatic Markets to my current position as Country Manager for Serbia and Area Account Manager for East Adriatic Markets, Romania, and Bulgaria. Also, I am involved in business development projects.
2. What is exciting about your current role?
One of the most exhilarating aspects is the variety of projects in countries that I am handling (EAM, Romania, and Bulgaria). The variety of projects not only keeps me engaged but also allows me to continuously expand my skill set.
Every project is specific and has its own story. Whether I am doing complex challenges or innovating on new initiatives, every day brings a fresh set of opportunities to learn and grow. These projects not only challenge me to apply and expand my skills in regional project management and business development, but it also have a significant impact on many brands such as Milka, Oreo, Barni, 7Days, belVita, TUC, Svoge, Moreni, and many other big brands.
3. What do you enjoy most about the work you do at PROMIDEA?
The collaborative culture at PROMIDEA is something I truly love. Working alongside a team of dedicated and talented professionals brings up an environment where every project flows easily, and team achievements are celebrated.
The commitment to innovation and staying at the forefront of industry trends is another aspect that I appreciate.
In summary, the combination of challenging projects, a collaborative team, a commitment to innovation, and the meaningful impact of our work collectively make my experience at PROMIDEA truly enjoyable.
4. What has been the highlight/s (projects) for you?
My favorite projects are always BARNI projects.
These projects stand out as a highlight due to their very cute and attractive promotional items designed for kids. It provides a unique opportunity to be very innovative and to go in many different directions, also the collaborative efforts of the team are crucial to its success.
5. Can you give us an example of how you stepped outside your comfort zone in this role?
I would say that this is a very important part of our daily business. Comfort is a very dangerous zone that is not leading to our progress and growth.
I believe that pushing our boundaries is crucial for continuous improvement, and this experience has strengthened my dedication to accepting challenges and seeking growth opportunities. Taking new markets, managing more projects, and opening new clients are just some of the actions I am taking to make a bigger impact, and to make personal and professional growth faster with the company.
6. What is your biggest learning experience since working with us?
The PROMIDEA `machine mechanism` is pure perfection. All processes from A to Z are organized in a way to keep you focused all the time on the smallest details and in this way, we are acting very responsibly in every second of our daily job. I like the way of work and organization because allowing us to work in a good workflow.
I learned invaluable lessons in regional project forecasting/analyzing management that have since contributed to my professional development. Moreover, the support and mentorship provided by my colleagues in the company during this learning journey were crucial.
Their guidance helped me navigate unfamiliar territory and, in the end, contributed to the success of the projects. This helped me to shape my approach to problem-solving, project management, and teamwork.
7. What advice would you give someone who wants to join PROMIDEA as a Regional Account Manager?
